The stage design was basically musicians sitting in their chairs with the sheet music on a stand in front of them. The conductor placed on a platform in the center of the stage so everyone would be able to see him. The lighting was constant throughout the whole stage. Everyone had the same level of importance The stage set-up was based on what instrument each musician played. There were woodwind, brass, percussion, violin instrumental groups on the stage. In the middle front of everyone on stage was the conductor on a platform. In the Whitewater Symphony Orchestra, starting from the left corner from my perspective was timpani. The middle back of the stage was the clarinet, bassoons, flutes, and oboes.
